    Lead Instructor
    LeAnne Schilling, the founder of Curious K9, brings over 20 years of expertise as a second-generation dog trainer. Launching Curious K9 in 2010, she transformed her initial boutique and training center into a comprehensive hub for dog training. LeAnne is dedicated to offering both essential and desired training for dog owners, and has carefully assembled a team of trainers who share core values of honesty, integrity, and respect. Curious K9 is more than a training facility—it's a community where connections between dogs and their owners are nurtured and strengthened.

  • Courtney Schilling

    Location: Eugene & Springfield, or Veneta & Noti

    Lead Instructor
    Courtney Schilling, a veteran with over 30 years in dog training, specializes in behavior modification and personal protection. Mentored from a young age by his father, he developed a deep understanding of various training styles, working with police and protection dogs. Courtney, who started a dog training business after serving in the Navy, has recently joined his sister's training team in Lane County. He's also rehabilitating an owner-surrendered Belgian Malinois named Dolly, nurturing her into a confident, social companion.

    Associate Trainer

    Ezryie Garza, from Oregon, found her calling in dog training after bonding with her Belgian Malinois, Quinn. Her journey led her from San Diego to Curious K9 in Oregon and then to Starmark Academy in Texas for professional training. Embracing dog training as her ikigai, Ezryie is dedicated to strengthening the human-canine bond, both personally and professionally with Curious K9.
